JD Salinger's unpublished novels are going to stir up a lot of literary-related news. The manuscripts, however many there may be, might not be published if his wife or children don't want them to be. The family still wants Cornish to have the "protective bubble" that they maintained for JD, so they probably don't want his works to be released immediately. Even if the manuscripts are the greatest novels yet, they may still be reluctant and respect Salinger's wishes of anonymity. The novels may end up being great contributions and possibly even added to the prestigious collection of New York Best Sellers.
Salinger should be published regardless of the content of his novels. The more controversial, the more they books that sell. He could become one of the most read authors in history; death may bring more fame to his name.

i like what you are saying here. The books they sell and the subsequent money which would be generated would impact a lot of pockets and unfortunately I think that the ultimate decision would come down to just that aspect.
